Welcome to the State Bar of Texas Online Grievance/Client Security Fund portal for the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel. The Texas attorney discipline system is administered by the Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel (CDC), whose work is overseen by the Commission for Lawyer Discipline. The CDC represents the Commission in disciplinary litigation.

Clients who demonstrate that their Texas lawyer stole their money or failed to refund an unearned fee may file an application for relief with the Fund.
Apply to the Client Security Fund⚠ Important: Supporting documentation must be received by the Office of the Chief Disciplinary Counsel by mail or fax within 10 days of submitting your grievance, or it will not be considered.
